The Brief

To celebrate PlayStation Access hitting a million subscribers on YouTube, we wanted to do something more than the usual ‘thank you’ video or Q&A…

So we wrote and recorded a celebratory rap anthem with a bespoke music video, featuring the artist consistently known as Dave… and a full-blown music video to go with it.

The Execution

A million is a big deal. What sets our channel apart and resonates the most with our subscribers is our relatable humour and host personalities. So to thank our fans for getting us to a million subs, we wrote, performed, and composed a comedy rap song titled ‘We Finally Made It’ to celebrate our milestone achievement. Littered with in-jokes and familiar references for those who’ve followed the channel since day one, we also storyboarded, filmed, and edited a music video for the track. 

Every part of this production was handled by us in-house. And sadly no, Dave hasn’t collaborated with Stormzy yet. One day.
