Netflix needed a buzzworthy video to announce season three of their hit teen drama. We trawled through behind-the-scenes footage to create an asset that felt like it had as much heart as the show itself. We pulled select soundbites from talent interviews that would captivate Heartstopper’s ravenous fanbase, whilst still leaving room for plenty of speculation…
The asset was brilliantly received by fans, with 7.1m views on Instagram and a more than 3m views across YouTube and TikTok.
Cast announcement
As part of the announcement, we also created a custom static to reveal Eddie Marsan, Hayley Atwell and Jonathan Bailey were all joining the cast. Netflix have a template for this kind of announcement, but we updated it for Heartstopper to include playful visual elements.
