The Brief
A Drag Queen’s Guide To The Perfect Christmas Movie. Netflix asked us to poke fun at their formulaic – but wildly popular – seasonal films with a special edition of their ongoing ‘I Like To Watch’ YouTube series, this time hosted by drag queen icons Cheryl Hole and Kitty Scott-Claws.
The Execution
We worked on this from conception to production, pulling together a knowing script crammed with Drag Race and holiday specials in-jokes, and creating a suite of design assets to fit the irreverent tone of the video. We also produced the shoot itself, on a set gradually overwhelmed by tons of Christmas decorations.
